Diet
You are what you eat, and if you eat a donut for breakfast every morning it shouldn’t come as a surprise that you’ve got a tire around your waist. Natural, healthy, and foods high in protein are a great way to get rid of your belly fat, but foods high in sugar, trans fat, and fried foods are a usual culprit to the causes of belly fat.
Physical Activity
It’s recommended that you get at a minimum 30 minutes of physical activity that’s considered strenuous enough to get your heart elevated. If you’re not reaching this minimum your lack of exercise may be a cause for your belly fat.
There are many belly fat exercises you can do to start eliminating your gut, but the best thing you can do is simply start working on cardiovascular focused activities such as walking, jogging, or biking.
Stress
Stress can actually hurt your body by weakening your immune system and decreasing the amount of hours you spend counting sheep at night. Without a healthy amount of sleep and a weakened immune system it may be harder for your body to burn off fats since it’s priority is simply keeping you healthy.
Although removing stress from your life is easier said than done, by doing so you’ll be removing one of the causes of belly fat.
Sugars
The average person encounters hundreds, if not thousands of delicious, sugary snack possibilities everyday. Simply walk into a convenience store and you’re greeted with candy, cookies, soda, joice, and a plethora of other sugary, high fructose options.
Even fast food that seems to be harmless and lacking in sugar are filled with the stuff. Sugar can be highly addicting and is also a great way to get belly fat. Remove your simple sugars such as sodas, juices, and candy by replacing them with belly fat burning foods such as berries, nuts, and beans.
